What ever became of the Citizenship Award in school? The one to teach us all to aspire to be good, quality members of the community. Better yet - what happened to COMMUNITIES? A rant for another day...

- After 16 months of seemingly endless unemployment, according to my business cards I am now working as an Administrative Professional. I love what I do because I feel like I'm helping people just a little bit each day. I'm heading into my third year of marriage though I've known my husband since I was 15. That means 23 years have passed since we first met and dated. It seems like a lifetime ago but when I think of my life, in many ways it feels like my life didn't even begin until I reconnected with my husband and married him. So much has happened since then (good and bad) but I'm hopeful for many more years of happiness, challenges, and laughs together. I do know I'll have few times where I can be alone in the bathroom, I'll spend hours folding other people's underwear, and I will have many more moments of finding something in my house and wondering "WHAT is that?" while looking at the dog/kids/husband. That is my life today and for better or for worse - it's a pretty great life. It's the one I have and I cherish it.
